Camp Policies

 

1. All enrollment forms must be completed and on file by May 30th.

(Late Registration will result in additional $10.00 charge.)

 

2. No child should be dropped off at camp outside.  Parent or Guardian must bring child inside building

 

3. Children who are ill are not to remain at camp.  If the child becomes ill during the day, parents will be called and the child should be picked up.

 

4. If your child is to take any medication, including aspirin, you will need to fill out a medication form giving us permission to administer that medication.  This is a state regulation.

 

5. Children should be wear washable clothing in which they will be comfortable.  Modest clothing is requested.  Halter tops, short shorts, and clothing of this type should not be worn to camp.  Footwear should be only tennis shoes and socks(no sandals or jellies).

 

6. The children will have an opportunity to take various trips.  Ever Monday of camp a permission sheet will be posted on the door where you drop off your child indicating the field trip planned for that week.  You must sign this sheet every week giving us permission to take your child on field trips.

 

7. Lunch will be provided.  Snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon.

 

8. Children are accepted in the camp who will profit from experiences in this setting.  If it is determined that the child will not profit from this service, other arrangements must be made.

 

9.  Adequate materials and supplies are provided, so children will not need to bring toys or games with them unless asked to do so by their group leader.

 

10. Children will not need money during the day, so we request that they not bring any with them unless requested by the director for a special treat.

 

11. A security system is provided for the safety of your child.  When you drop off your child, you must sign him/her in.  We also ask that you provide us with the name of the person who will sign out your child at the end of the day.

 

12. Any exceptions to the above policies must be cleared through the director of the day camp (Stephen Brogli, 792-2052) or the church office (792-2781).
